Argyle is a large neighbourhood located on London’s east side made up of several smaller neighbourhoods including Trafalgar Heights, the Hale Street District, Pottersburg, and Nelson Park. The residential areas were largely constructed after World War 2 with many homes either single detached or townhouses with many three-story walk-ups.
Argyle’s main business hub is the Argyle Mall located at Dundas Street and Clarke Road and offers plenty of shopping options.
There’s plenty to enjoy outdoors in the neighbourhood with many parks including Kiwanis Park and East Lions Park. Kiwanis Park is home to a skateboard park, spray pad, play equipment, walking trails and sports fields. East Lions Park is soon to be home to the East Community Centre with an indoor pool, gym, community centre, and an artisan’s centre. If you’ve got a four-legged friend, you may enjoy visiting the Pottersburg-FIDO Off-leash Dog Park which can be found at the southern end of the neighbourhood near the river.
